1. Service Scope & Estimates
B&R Tree Service provides arboricultural tree care and concrete flatwork services throughout Greater Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana. All written quotes and estimates are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of the in-person assessment, unless otherwise stated. Estimates are contingent upon clear site access and disclosed property boundaries.
2. Payment Terms
Unless alternate progress billing is agreed upon in writing for large commercial contracts, full payment is due immediately upon substantial completion of the contracted tree or concrete work. We accept standard payment methods specified on your proposal.
3. Concrete Curing & Weather Disclaimers
Concrete is a natural composite material subject to ambient humidity, thermal expansion, and subgrade shifts. While B&R installs compacted gravel bases, steel reinforcement, and contraction control joints in accordance with trade best practices, minor hairline shrinkage fractures and slight color variations are normal characteristics of cured concrete and do not constitute structural defect. Extreme weather events (heavy rain, severe freezing) may require rescheduling pours to protect slab integrity. Property owners must adhere to cure timelines: no vehicle parking for 7 full days.
4. Property Access & Underground Utilities
Clients are responsible for informing B&R of private underground lines, invisible dog fences, and irrigation systems not marked by public 811 utility locators. While our crew takes extensive precautions and uses ground protection mats, heavy bucket trucks, chippers, and skid steers may cause minor cosmetic turf indentation during wet seasons.
5. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
B&R Tree Service maintains comprehensive commercial general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. These terms and any disputes arising under contracted services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
